- Represented an international lender in connection with the financing of the acquisition of two real estate portfolios containing 17 shopping centers located in five states.
- Represent a national developer in connection with the acquisition of large multifamily properties for repositioning, including condominium conversion. In addition to traditional lender financing, we assist our client with secondary financing through private placement of stock as well as membership interests in the acquisition entity, including all necessary federal and state securities filings.

| Chris Kehoe, chair of Robinson & Cole's Real Estate Practice Group, has represented lenders, buyers, sellers, and developers in the purchase, sale, and financing of real estate for more than two decades.
Mr. Kehoe's practice emphasizes real estate and finance law and the representation of national and local developers in the acquisition, financing, and development of a variety of projects, including condominium construction and conversion, residential subdivisions, and shopping centers. He also has represented a national developer of assisted living projects in site acquisition, financing, marketing, and unit sales. Mr. Kehoe has been involved in multiunit housing projects by developers and large-scale condominium projects, from acquisition through documentation and individual unit sales.
Mr. Kehoe's practice also includes the analysis and resolution of complex title issues. He is a title insurance agent for seven national title insurers.
Mr. Kehoe is a past president and a current member of the board of directors of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts and the current chair of its Legislative Committee. He is a past president of the Massachusetts Association of Bank Counsel. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Abstract Club. In addition, he is a frequent speaker before legal, professional, and community groups on issues related to real estate law, financing, title insurance, and title issues. He is a member of the American Land Title Association, the Real Estate Finance Association, and the Real Estate Sections of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Boston Bar Association.
Mr. Kehoe received his B.A., cum laude, from St. Anselm College and his J.D. from Boston College Law School. He recently received Boston College Law School's 75th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Award. |
