The summer associate program includes an ongoing evaluation process. Feedback by the attorney assigning a project is given directly to the summer associate following completion of each project.
During the course of the summer, each summer associate participates in an individual midsummer review that helps to reinforce strong lawyering skills and eliminate areas that may need improvement. Before departing, every summer associate receives a second, full evaluation highlighting the accomplishments of the summer and discussing the summer associate's experience at Robinson & Cole.
Both the midsummer and final review are intended to facilitate an open dialogue between the summer associate and members of Robinson & Cole's Hiring Committee. These reviews include not only evaluation and feedback for the summer associates, but also an opportunity for the summer associate to express thoughts about the Robinson & Cole summer associate program.
