We are well aware of today's competitive marketplace for quality lawyers. Our salaries are competitive with those of most large commercial law firms in our region. For our first-year associates, starting salaries are $115,000 in Hartford, $125,000 in Stamford, and $130,000 in Boston and New York. Associates' salaries are based on the cost of living in the area where they work, and therefore have been adjusted upward for associates in Stamford, Boston, and New York City. Associates are also eligible for monetary year-end bonuses. Our compensation remains competitive throughout an associate's career with Robinson & Cole, reaching well into six figures by the time associates are considered for partnership.
