Business Litigation Associate - Boston

Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with two to five years of complex litigation experience to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in its Boston, MA office. 

Since its founding in 1845, Robinson+Cole has been recognized for its trial practice. Today, nearly a third of our lawyers engage in trial work, with the geographic reach of our practice meeting the regional, national, and global nature of our clients' operations. Our trial practice combines the substantial resources of a large firm with the depth of trial experience, efficient staffing, and responsiveness of a trial boutique.

The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility, including drafting of briefs on critical motions, management of discovery, depositions and court appearances.  Our ideal candidate has superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience to join our team.  Admission to the Massachusetts bar is required.   Admission to the Rhode Island bar is a plus.  Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience are also a plus.

Health Law Associate

Robinson & Cole LLP, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate to join its Health Law Practice Group in its Boston, MA; Hartford, CT; or New York, NY office. 

Robinson+Cole's Health Law Group consists of a team of experienced health care lawyers trained to advise clients on meeting business objectives within the confines of a complicated legal and regulatory environment. Each member of the Health Law Group understands the urgency of our clients' issues, the complexity of an evolving health care environment, and the challenges of competition, regulation, and resource allocation. We are focused on providing practical and responsive counsel to our clients. We represent the spectrum of health care clients, including hospitals, hospice providers, behavioral health care providers, long-term care facilities, provider networks, durable medical equipment suppliers, ambulatory surgical centers, physicians and other individual providers, home health care agencies, clinics, and outpatient facilities.  We also represent, and actively work with, investors, lenders, investment banks and other intermediaries and advisors in the health care space.

Real Estate and Development Associate - Boston

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an Attorney with three to seven years’ experience to join its Real Estate and Development practice group in its Boston office.

Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate and Development practice regularly represents lenders, buyers, sellers and owners in commercial real estate transactions.  Representative clients include national and local lenders, developers, and owners of all classes of real estate assets.

Qualified candidates will have significant experience representing clients in real estate and finance transactional matters including real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial real estate lending, construction lending, and commercial leasing. Experience with loan participation, loan work outs, foreclosures, reviewing title and survey and condominium matters is a plus.

The candidate must have substantial experience reviewing due diligence work related to zoning, survey and title issues with a special emphasis on title insurance and endorsements.  In addition to the ability to review and analyze complex real estate agreements, candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

Business Transactions Staff Attorney

Robinson+Cole an AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking a highly motivated staff attorney for a flexible, off-track position to work with our busy Business Transactions practice.  Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience as a practicing attorney, and will have experience drafting and negotiating agreements and documents relating to mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and general corporate matters.

This position can be based in our Hartford, CT; Stamford, CT; New York, NY; Boston, MA; or Providence, RI office.  Remote work may be available, but the candidate must be resident in a state where we have employees and should be within traveling distance of one of the listed offices.  Admission to the bar in the state of practice is required.   Candidates should work well as part of a team, have great attention to detail, and excellent communication and drafting skills.
