Dan Sullivan and Greg Varga are among the speakers presenting during the 2018 Property Insurance Law Committee Spring CLE Conference, "What Keeps You Up at Night?" in Nashville, Tennessee. Presented by the American Bar Association's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS), the conference offers insight on cutting edge issues that affect areas unique to property insurance law. Laura Farach is the Program Co-Chair for the conference.
Mr. Sullivan is presenting on "The Increasing Threat of Global Ransomware"which will focus on the evolving coverage issues associated with this new threat and will provide insight on how insurers are responding to this threat.
Mr. Varga's session, "Is it Flood? Is is Wind? No, it's a Hurricane!", will discuss anti-concurrent clauses in insurance policies, which remains an omnipresent source of dispute between policyholders and carriers across the entire spectrum of first-party property claims.
