The Connecticut Law Tribune quoted employee benefits and compensation associate Virginia E. McGarrity in the article “Ready To Claim A ‘Seat At The Table,’” published on May 7, 2012. The story is about the Connecticut Bar Association allocating seats on its House of Delegates to bar associations representing minority groups. Each affinity bar association certified with the Connecticut Bar Association will select a House of Delegates member. Ms. McGarrity is past president of the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association.
