Todd Berman Congratulates Connecticut Invention Convention Winners

Todd R. Berman, a senior environmental analyst, served as a judge and presented the Environmental Innovation Awards at the 29th annual Connecticut Invention Convention on April 28, 2012. The University of Connecticut School of Engineering hosted the convention at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs.

Mr. Berman represented the Connecticut Environmental Forum, which provides opportunities for environmental professionals to share information on environmental matters. The Connecticut Environmental Forum sponsors the Environmental Innovation Awards. Mr. Berman is treasurer of the forum and serves on its board.

The Connecticut Invention Convention began in 1983 and is the oldest continuously running children’s invention convention in the nation where young inventors exhibit their practical solutions to everyday problems. Students in grades K-8 showcase their novel ideas demonstrating ingenuity and enthusiasm.
