Stephen Aronson Comments on Supreme Court Ruling in Hartford Courant

6.05.12
The Hartford Courant quoted Stephen W. Aronson, a partner, in an article about the Connecticut Supreme Court ruling that employers may be liable if they fail to protect employees from harassment based on sexual orientation. The court issued the ruling on May 4, 2012.

The article, “Employers Liable For Anti-Gay Harassment, Connecticut Supreme Court Rules,” published on May 7, 2012, quoted Mr. Aronson saying, “Connecticut companies and companies doing business in Connecticut will sit up and take notice of this.” He also said that this decision “will make them look to see if their workplace practices are in accordance with the court's ruling.” As explained by Mr. Aronson, "At the root of all this, you want to create a workforce of people that get along regardless of national origin, sexual orientation, race, creed, color" or other protected classifications.
