Eric Daniels Receives Volunteer of the Year Award

Robinson & Cole partner Eric D. Daniels and his wife, Pat, received HARC’s Volunteers of the Year Award at HARC’s annual meeting on June 21, 2012, for their work chairing the organization’s annual auctions in 2010 and 2011. Through the two auctions, Mr. and Mrs. Daniels helped raise nearly $500,000 for HARC.

Robinson & Cole’s partnership with HARC began more than 25 years ago when the firm became the first Hartford-area law firm employment site for individuals with developmental disabilities. In the decades since, between four and six HARC participants have come to the firm’s Hartford office daily to perform assigned responsibilities with support from a HARC job coach.

HARC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with intellectual disability and their families. HARC advocates for civil rights and opportunities and provides clinical and supportive programs spanning the entire lifetime.
