    Biography

    Anthony J. Vogel is a member of the firm's Real Estate + Development Group, where he focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of clients in commercial leasing and financing transactions and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real property.  He is resident in the firm’s Stamford and New York City offices.

    Leasing

    Anthony represents landlords and tenants in complex commercial lease negotiations for office, industrial and retail space throughout the country.  

    Acquisitions and Dispositions

    Anthony assists clients in buying and selling commercial real estate across the United States, including office, retail and industrial properties. 

    Development

    Anthony advises developers and municipalities in connection with mixed use, retail and commercial developments.

    Financing

    Anthony assists clients with real estate financings, including the structuring and negotiation of mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans. He has experience representing both borrowers and lenders.

     

    Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Anthony was an associate in the New York City office of a 450-lawyer firm, where he represented purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, and lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate financings.

      • Represent landlord in connection with the leasing of its 337,000 square foot office building in Hartford, Connecticut.

      • Represent health care system in connection with its leasing needs throughout the United States.

      • Represent public company in connection with its leasing needs throughout the United States. 

      • Represented owner in connection with the sale of a medical office building portfolio in North Carolina. 

      • Represent shopping center owner/operator/manager in connection with the sale of shopping centers.

      • Represented municipality in connection with the $15.7 million sale of a development parcel. 

      • Represented client in connection with the acquisition of mixed-use waterfront properties in Connecticut. 

      • Represent developer in connection with acquisition and disposition of office buildings in Stamford, Connecticut.

      • Assisted client with the $20 million sale and leaseback of a 300,000-square-foot warehouse in New Jersey.

      • Represented developer in connection with a $360 million construction loan for the construction of luxury residential condominiums in Manhattan.*  

      • Represented client in connection with the $11 million purchase of a portfolio of affordable housing buildings across Connecticut.

      • Represented owner in the $800 million sale of an office building in Manhattan. *

      • Represented developer in connection with a $7 million construction rehabilitation loan in Connecticut.

      • Represented lender in the $660 million mortgage and mezzanine financing of a luxury condominium and hotel in Manhattan. *
