    Biography

    Nadine Ebersole focuses her practice in the area of construction law as a member of the firm’s Construction Group. Ms. Ebersole has worked in the legal department of a national construction company, and at Robinson+Cole, she handles all construction-related transactions and litigation matters.

    Contract Procurement and Project Delivery

    Ms. Ebersole reviews, writes, and negotiates all design, construction and project management related contracts for clients in the public and private sectors.

    Ms. Ebersole has significant experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Ms. Ebersole worked at a national, Boston-based construction company’s legal department, where she drafted and negotiated contracts and agreements for various projects. She has advised construction teams about all legal issues related to the operation of projects, such as issues surrounding state mechanics’ lien laws. She has drafted and negotiated dozens of subcontract riders, amendments, purchase orders, services agreements and vendor agreements for project teams.

    Dispute Resolution

    If any dispute arises between parties on a project, such as claims of defects or delays, Ms. Ebersole provides alternative dispute resolution services, including mediation and arbitration. She also handles state and federal litigation involving construction-related disputes.

    Ms. Ebersole is a regular contributor to the firm’s blog, Construction Law Zone.

    Ms. Ebersole is active in the community. She volunteers in the resource center at Women’s Lunch Place, a Boston-based organization which helps women in need. She has also participated in a race to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

      • Reviewed asset purchase agreements on behalf of a Massachusetts construction company to identify and verify any acquired liabilities.

      • Reviewed and analyzed existing operating agreements and corporate bylaws for a construction company, to confirm legal obligations and to incorporate updates.

      • Wrote and successfully negotiated various agreements, including  subcontract riders, services, and vendor agreements, for a major national construction contractor.

      • Independently led a national construction company’s self-audit of the Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Program (OFCCP) to ensure compliance with affirmative action and anti-employment discrimination rules.

      • Conducted privilege reviews and assisted in gathering documents for a Rule 4 file with the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals.
