    Biography

    Susan Roberts focuses her practice on transactional and regulatory compliance matters of tax-exempt organizations. She regularly provides advice to public charities, private foundations, supporting organizations, educational institutions, hospital and health care organizations, social service agencies, cultural and performing arts organizations, and trade associations. She assists with the process of forming nonprofit organizations and applying for tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service. Additionally, she provides advice on matters relating to regulatory compliance, contracting, fiduciary duties, governance, development of policies, unrelated business income, endowments, and charitable solicitations.

    Ms. Roberts was included on the 2010 and 2011 Connecticut Super Lawyers® Rising Star list in the area of Tax Law ( Super Lawyers is a registered trademark of Key Professional Media, Inc.).
