Construction Associate

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an attorney to join its Construction Group in its Hartford, CT; Stamford, CT; Boston, MA; or New York, NY office.

Our construction lawyers have devoted their legal careers to serving the construction industry, and they enjoy national reputations for their work. The Construction Group comprises skilled litigators and transactional attorneys, a combination of talent that affords our clients a breadth of experience and depth. Our lawyers handle a broad range of issues involved in construction projects, including contract procurement and delivery, drafting and negotiating design and construction contracts, and claims and dispute resolution. M&A Associate

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an M&A attorney to join its Business Transactions practice group in its New York, NY, Stamford, CT, Hartford, CT or Boston, MA office.

Robinson+Cole’s Business Transactions practice group represents clients in a broad range of corporate, strategic, financial, and commercial transactions and matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital debt and equity financings; joint ventures; corporate governance; and significant commercial agreements.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of four years of experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents relating to mergers and acquisitions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, letters of intent and related agreements. Data Privacy and Litigation Associate

Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with two to three years of data privacy and litigation experience to join its complex litigation practice in its Providence, RI office. 

Since its founding in 1845, Robinson+Cole has been recognized for its trial practice. Today, nearly a third of our lawyers engage in trial work, with the geographic reach of our practice meeting the regional, national, and global nature of our clients' operations. Our trial practice combines the substantial resources of a large firm with the depth of trial experience, efficient staffing, and responsiveness of a trial boutique.

The successful candidate should have data privacy and security experience and will be expected to primarily assist the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Team with providing counsel on state and federal data privacy and security laws, enforcement actions, security incident response and data breaches, as well as assist with data privacy litigation. Commercial Real Estate Associate

Robinson+Cole’s dynamic and growing real estate practice seeks an attorney to join its New York City office. 

Robinson+Cole's real estate practice encompasses a spectrum of real estate transactional and related matters, representing a range of clients, including multinational corporations; institutional, public, and private lenders; retailers; state agencies; bonding authorities; schools; commercial and multifamily developers; health care institutions; hotel chains; and manufacturers.  Robinson+Cole also advises for-profit developers, nonprofit organizations, housing authorities, and redevelopment agencies on acquisition, development, management, and financing of affordable housing projects, and is a premier firm in representing lenders and other participants in complex affordable housing financing transactions.

Qualified candidates will have four to six years of experience representing clients in real estate lending matters with an emphasis on representing lending institutions in connection with commercial real estate financing or affordable housing financing transactions. Business Bankruptcy Associate 

Robinson+Cole LLP, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with four to six years of experience to join its Bankruptcy and Reorganizations Practice Group, based in any of our offices.  The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the representation of Debtors, Creditors and Official and Unofficial Committees in business bankruptcy and restructuring matters;
  • Drafting and reviewing court filings, including but not limited to motions, memoranda, and complaints;
  • Conducting research and drafting related correspondence, memoranda, and briefs;
  • Attending to all matters related to discovery in contested matters as well as adversary proceedings.

Health Law Associate

Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate - Boston

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an Attorney with two to four years’ experience to join its Real Estate and Development practice group in its Boston office.

Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate and Development practice regularly represents lenders, buyers, sellers and owners in commercial real estate transactions.  Representative clients include national and local lenders, developers, and owners of all classes of real estate assets.

Qualified candidates will have significant experience representing clients in real estate and finance transactional matters including real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial real estate lending, construction lending, and commercial leasing. Experience with loan participation, loan work outs, foreclosures, reviewing title and survey and condominium matters is a plus.

The candidate must have substantial experience reviewing due diligence work related to zoning, survey and title issues with a special emphasis on title insurance and endorsements.  In addition to the ability to review and analyze complex real estate agreements, candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
