    Biography

Bomopregha A. Julius has diverse legal experience in multifamily and commercial real estate transactions and litigation.

Before joining Robinson+Cole, Bomopregha most recently served as an Assistant Counsel to the New York State Housing Finance Agency, where she represented the Agency in the real estate aspects of tax-exempt bond financing and, as of right 4 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit deals providing for affordable housing throughout the State of New York.

Prior to her time at the Agency, Bomopregha worked as an Associate for a Brooklyn-based firm, where she negotiated all aspects of multifamily residential and commercial real estate transactions. She also represented landlords and tenants in housing court litigation, clients in foreclosure litigation, and developers in commercial lending. In the litigation practice, she was active early on in defending Black landowners in Brooklyn from Deed theft before it was on the public radar.

Bomopregha spent the beginning of her career acquiring experience in various settings, including in a New York County Civil Court and as a Legal Analyst for a major Swiss banking group. Both settings broadened her ability to adapt to different environments and helped her to bring a broad range of expertise to her clients.

Outside of Bomopregha's professional career, she enjoys volunteering and community service. She is a Life Member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and the Cornell Black Alumni Association. She spends her free time traveling and finding new adventures.
