Biography
Christopher Homsy advises companies and investors on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions. His practice focuses on counseling companies across various industry sectors (e.g., technology, software, manufacturing, consumer products) on corporate governance and business transactions, including equity financings for strategic investments, restructurings, corporate partnerships, and other exit transactions. Chris is a member of the Business Transactions Group.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Chris represents buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
General Corporate Matters
Chris also represents clients on general corporate matters, including corporate governance, entity formation, debt and equity financings, and commercial contracting needs.
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Chris was an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group of KPMG LLP, where he advised clients on state and local tax implications of M&A transactions, reorganizations, and cross-border transactions. Chris began his legal career as a corporate associate at a Rhode Island-based law firm, where he provided counsel to closely-held businesses and tax-exempt organizations.
