Biography
Kelly Butricks represents domestic and foreign professional liability insurers in complex coverage and litigation matters involving Directors and Officers liability, errors and omissions and fiduciary liability claims. She focuses her practice on the financial lines sector. Kelly is a member of the firm's Insurance + Reinsurance Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Kelly served as a law clerk for several judges of the Connecticut Appellate Court. In that role she prepared memoranda, conducted extensive research on complex legal issues, and drafted and reviewed court opinions. During law school she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello of the U.S. District Court in Hartford, attending oral arguments and other proceedings, conducting legal research and preparing draft opinions. Kelly also served as a clerk at a Hartford-based law firm, a teaching assistant for Evidence and Legal Practice courses, and as a research assistant for the University of Connecticut Law Library.
