Biography
Oliver Phillipson is an associate in the firm’s Insurance + Reinsurance group based in our New York City office. He counsels and represents insurers in complex coverage disputes arising from environmental, products liability, employer liability, and property damage claims. In addition to his work in the insurance arena, Oliver has represented clients in federal and state courts in a variety of commercial, real estate and employment disputes.
Oliver also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at his alma mater, Fordham University School of Law. His responsibilities there include coaching students in preparation for national and intra-school trial advocacy competitions as well as instructing students on trial advocacy skills such as conducting direct and cross examinations and delivering opening arguments and summation, and the fundamental concepts of evidence and civil and criminal procedure.
