Overview
Office and industrial development presents unique challenges to clients. Building size and footprint, traffic impacts, and parking needs are some of the issues that confront developers of office and industrial projects. Increasingly, state and local governments look to the developers of office and industrial projects to incorporate low-impact development design principles into their projects. Robinson+Cole lawyers are at the forefront of this important industry.
Our Services and Our Team
To provide the most comprehensive representation, we apply a cross-disciplinary approach and work with other Robinson+Cole practice groups:
Representation of a world leader involved in designing, manufacturing, and servicing aircraft engines, space propulsion systems, and industrial gas turbines for legal work concerning waste management, wastewater discharge, air emission, site cleanup, and other environmental and real estate issues regarding redevelopment of major campuses in California and Connecticut.
Represented the developer of a 1.5 million-square-foot distribution facility in Windsor, Connecticut, for the world's largest online retailer. The project timeline was extremely aggressive and progressed from initial planning to full-project permitting and entitlements through the closing of the land conveyance in just several months. Legal services included project permits and entitlements, real estate conveyancing, and negotiation of easements and service agreements with electric, water, and sewer utilities.
