Allison M. Carbonaro advises and represents domestic and international insurers in complex disputes arising under commercial property and commercial general liability lines. She is focused on identifying a client’s specific business objectives in each matter and devising and executing innovative strategies to achieve those objectives. Allison’s years of litigation experience have enabled her to hone her skills in both the federal and state courts, at both the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Allison was associated with another international law firm where she litigated a wide range of business disputes, among them insurance coverage matters and class actions. Over her career, she has managed all aspects of the discovery process, briefed and argued motions and appeals, and supervised teams of lawyers in large, complex document review projects.

While attending American University Washington College of Law, Allison worked as a professor’s assistant, which involved collaborating with a team to research, discuss and analyze statutes, common law, and secondary sources pertaining to a range of topics. She also edited Law Review articles, which included conducting a review of citations.
