Amy Crafts helps clients navigate government investigations, enforcement matters, and complex commercial disputes. She conducts internal and independent investigations and defends clients in federal and state matters involving allegations of fraudulent business practices, False Claims Act and consumer protection violations, and other commercial disputes.

Amy draws on 10 years of government enforcement experience as an Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where she held several leadership roles, including Chief of the False Claims Division. She supervised investigations and litigation involving alleged fraud in state contracting and violations of consumer protection laws, including Massachusetts False Claims Act enforcement and matters involving qui tam complaints.

Amy’s government experience also includes serving as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, a member of the Healthcare Fraud Task Force, and the Attorney General's designee on the Massachusetts Inspector General Council.

Her experience gives her unique insight into how enforcement authorities investigate potential violations, coordinate across agencies, and evaluate matters with possible criminal or civil exposure. She draws on this perspective to help clients anticipate government priorities, assess risk, and develop practical strategies for responding to investigations and enforcement actions.  Amy has investigated and resolved matters across a range of industries, including healthcare, information technology, construction, nonprofits, energy, and automotive.

Amy regularly pursues pro bono work. She previously led a pro bono domestic violence initiative in collaboration with the Middlesex District Attorney's Office and remains committed to supporting its mission.
