Ashley Q. Rotchford assists employers on a range of immigration law matters, including regulatory compliance and obtaining visas for key talent. Ashley’s clients include professional sports teams, Fortune 100 companies, and businesses of all sizes.

Ashley has experience with non-immigrant and immigrant petitions, family-based petitions, waivers of inadmissibility and the PERM labor certification process, the first step of the most common green card category used by employers to sponsor an employee for permanent residence in the United States.

Ashley also is well-versed in handling matters with federal agencies, including the Department of Labor, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, as well as U.S. embassies and consulates. She assists clients with I-9 compliance, performing internal audits and employer trainings. In addition, Ashley counsels colleges and universities regarding compliance with NCAA regulations, including Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) rules.

Prior to joining our firm, Ashley was an associate with a large national law firm. She also has practiced at a New Jersey-based immigration and sports entertainment law firm as an associate as well as at other regional and boutique law firms. Ashley served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven Polansky of the Superior Court of New Jersey. While earning her law degree, she interned for the offices of Philadelphia City Council member Maria Quiñones-Sánchez and the Philadelphia Immigration Court.

On January 22, 2026, Managed Care + ERISA Litigation group lawyer Stephanie J. Oppenheim hosted a Pro Bono Record Clearing Clinic, in collaboration with Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity, at the firm’s Philadelphia office, to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Criminal records often create barriers to employment, housing, and education opportunities for those looking to reintegrate themselves into society and contribute. R+C volunteer attorneys provided legal insight and drafted pardon applications for indigent Philadelphians with criminal records, helping them pursue a fresh start and greater economic stability and opportunity. Immigration group lawyer Ashley Rotchford and Managed Care + ERISA Litigation group lawyer Conor Foley also volunteered to assist with the initiative.
