He is adept at identifying efficiencies in lease administration and negotiation, helping clients reduce turnaround times and avoid costly delays. For several years, Austin served as outside counsel to a multinational corporation, managing the day-to-day legal aspects of its leasing portfolio. His work has included negotiating new leases, amendments, terminations, subordination agreements, and other leasing-focused transactions - often under tight timelines and with multiple internal stakeholders involved.
Acquisitions + Dispositions
Austin regularly counsels clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate assets, focusing on clear communication through each phase of the deal. He works closely with clients to structure, negotiate, and document transactions, including drafting purchase and sale agreements, negotiating loan documents, and reviewing due diligence materials such as title and survey.
