Cassandra M. Pereda’s practice focuses on tax-exempt municipal bond finance and taxable structured debt products, primarily on tax-exempt affordable multifamily housing bonds, including public offerings and private placements on both rated and unrated bonds. Her experience includes serving as underwriter’s counsel, issuer’s counsel, and purchaser’s counsel. Cassandra also acts as bond and loan counsel for the nation’s largest bank-sponsored tax-exempt housing bond and loan conduit private placement program, support for affordable multifamily rental projects.

In law school, Cassandra interned with the in-house legal department of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Nashville Predators. She also interned with the New York City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project, which offers pro bono legal services to small business owners.
