Isabella R. Grillo assists in defending disputes related to group welfare benefits, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), health insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance coverage.

Before joining Robinson+Cole, Isabella participated in Boston University’s Mental Health Litigation Practicum, representing indigent clients in civil commitment and involuntary treatment proceedings. Additionally, she served as a judicial extern for The Honorable Vickie L. Henry of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where she researched and drafted memoranda on various substantive and procedural matters, and as a legal intern for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where her work focused on interviewing witnesses in sexual harassment investigations, attending dispositions, cite-checking documents, and researching and drafting memoranda on Title VII and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
