Kathryn N. Mullin's real estate practice focuses on representing lenders in multifamily housing transactions including bridge, construction and permanent financing transactions, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac transactions, and tax-exempt financing transactions. She has extensive experience in transactions with state and federal tax credits, HAP contracts, ground leases and a wide variety of subordinate debt. In addition, Kathryn assisted with the representation of a firm client on all real estate aspects of the client’s affordable housing securitization program, including numerous executions with municipal issuers and Freddie Mac. Kathryn has also assisted with the representation of multiple lenders in closing loans under the Fannie Mae M.TEB product line. 

Kathryn is committed to doing pro bono work. Over the past several years, she has assisted a land trust in the acquisition and preservation of over 100 acres of land in Connecticut.

While attending law school, Kathryn was a Public Interest Scholar and worked as a congressional intern for U.S. Senator Chris Murphy.

Robinson+Cole Promotes New Partners and Counsel in Strategic Practices and Markets

Robinson+Cole announced the election of Zhuoyao (Joy) Hui, Kathryn N. Mullin, and Austin G. Provost as Partners, effective January 1, 2026.
