Financial Lines team chair John McCarrick was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 New York Legal Awards, presented by the New York Law Journal.

Over a distinguished career spanning more than 35 years, John has earned widespread recognition for his leadership in complex financial lines, professional liability, and insurance coverage matters. Known for his strategic judgment, professionalism, and integrity, he has guided clients through some of the most significant disputes affecting the financial services and insurance industries while helping shape the firm's nationally recognized practice in this area.

In addition to his legal accomplishments, John is widely respected for his commitment to service and philanthropy. He is a co-founder of Grateful Nation Montana, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the children of Montana service members who lost their lives in Iraq or Afghanistan.  He is also the founder of the Statesman Foundation, a non-profit organization created 25-years ago that has collected and dispersed millions of charitable dollars to organizations and worthy causes nationwide.
