Patricia J. Igoe is a retired partner whose practice primarily has focused on commercial and corporate finance, asset-based lending, and other secured and unsecured lending transactions.
Finance Transactions
Pat’s practice has included a broad range of commercial lending, real estate, and business transactions. She has been well known for her legal work in the specialty metal, precious metal, jewelry, and electronic industries, where she represented lenders and commercial users of precious and base metals. Pat has been involved in precious metal and base metal consignments and dollar financing of primary and secondary precious metal refineries, copper wire and cable and other scrap metals recyclers and wholesalers, and oil refineries.
She also has represented financing institutions in the funding of manufacturing companies of all kinds – including advanced materials manufacturers and suppliers, manufacturers of semi-finished copper and brass alloys for the specialty metals industry, international oleochemical producers, electronic companies, national and international jewelry manufacturing companies as well as local plating operations.
As a result of her experience in the specialty metals business, her clients have included an international precious metal refinery, jewelry manufacturers, and secondary precious metal refining and reclamation companies. Pat also has had extensive experience handling complex, multi-lender, multi-million dollar financings.
Real Estate + Development
Pat's real estate practice has focused on commercial real estate acquisitions and financing, permitting, development, and leasing. She has negotiated purchase and sale agreements, conducted all necessary due diligence work, and advises clients on real estate issues involving the purchase and sale of businesses.
Community Service
Pat has been active in the community and was passionate about the advancement of young women in business. She served two terms on the Board of Trustees for the Lincoln School, an independent college preparatory school for girls. As a member of 100 Women Who Care, she helped to facilitate the funding of charities in local communities. Pat played a pivotal role in the history of the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England, and previously chaired the Camp Hoffman Master Plan Task Force to oversee extensive improvements to the scout campsite, making it a national model. She also served a nine-year term on the Board of Directors of Tockwotton Home, a senior living community.
