Tonia is a registered patent attorney who has litigated more than 100 cases in jurisdictions throughout the United States for both plaintiffs and defendants. She leverages her experience in both prosecution and litigation across the full spectrum of intellectual property to develop strategic, business-focused solutions for protecting, defending and enforcing clients’ intellectual property assets.

Her experience encompasses domestic and international trademark clearance and prosecution, domestic and international utility and design patent prosecution, patentability searches, validity and clearance opinions, appeals and contested proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Patent Trial and Appeal Board, as well as intellectual property litigation in federal courts around the country. 

Tonia also counsels clients on intellectual property licensing and commercialization, due diligence, settlement agreements, marketing and advertising initiatives, and other commercial matters involving intellectual property rights.
