Jake Law focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters as well as mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes engaging with specialists, conducting due diligence, and drafting diligence reports. Jake is also experienced with drafting ancillary documents including disclosure schedules, legal opinions, resolutions, and certificates, as well as managing deal progress through closing.

Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Jake’s recent matters include working directly with a partner in representing a data center company with multiple international subsidiaries and holding companies in financing a $350,000,000 development/construction loan. Jake also was a member of a small team that included a midlevel attorney and a partner, which represented the seller in a $13,000,000 disposition of land for the construction of a data center. His M&A experience features leading the U.S. seller-side due diligence in the sale of a global IT company, coordinating and working closely with data privacy, intellectual property, and employment teams.

Jake’s non-legal background is highlighted by extensive software engineering experience, including implementing full-scale web applications with signup flow, payment system, and subscription functions; developing large backend applications and databases with third-party integrations; and designing mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Jake's interests include music and teaching.
