Joshua A. Dachs defends managed care organizations, including plan and claims administrators, employers, and plan fiduciaries against claims asserted under Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and other federal and state laws, from inception through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts. 

Prior to joining the firm, Josh practiced at an Am Law 100 firm where he engaged in the defense, prosecution, and management of complex commercial disputes in multiple forums and jurisdictions, including state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. In addition to his experience defending managed care organizations, Josh represented banks, credit companies, and mortgage servicers against claims arising under a broad range of federal consumer protection and consumer finance laws, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Truth in Lending Act. Josh has also represented domestic and international clients in matters involving claims of breach of contract, business torts, securities fraud, employment disputes and bankruptcy.

Josh was selected as a Rising Star in the New York Metro Super Lawyers list from 2022 to 2024. During law school, Josh was an Editor of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law, engaged in pro bono work as a Member of the Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic, served on the Board of the Real Estate Law Association and was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Leon Ruchelsman of the Supreme Court of New York (King’s County).
