Kiernan L. Ignacio’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. 

Mergers + Acquisitions

Kiernan represents buy-side and sell-side clients across a range of industries, including health care, manufacturing and energy. Kiernan assists companies through all phases of corporate transactions, including letters of intent, due diligence, negotiating and drafting transaction documents, closings and post-closing matters.

General Corporate

Kiernan works with clients on various corporate matters, including entity formation, corporate governance and commercial agreements.

Kiernan is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. Prior to joining our firm, Kiernan gained both small- and large-firm experience in a wide range of legal practice areas, including litigation and securitization, in addition to her corporate practice.

Kiernan is a certified yoga instructor and taught for several years during a hiatus from practicing law.

Served as legal counsel for Acentus, a national medical supplier specializing in the delivery of continuous glucose monitors for Medicare patients, in its acquisition by Henry Schein, Inc., a solutions company for health care professionals advising over 1 million customers globally to help improve operational success and clinical outcomes. The acquisition, which was announced on November 20, 2024, will see Henry Schein acquire substantially all of Acentus’ assets, and will expand its national homecare solutions platform to address the evolving needs of clients.

Robinson+Cole announced the election of Zhuoyao (Joy) Hui, Kathryn N. Mullin, and Austin G. Provost as Partners, effective January 1, 2026. These promotions reinforce the firm’s growth strategy and deepen its Capital Markets + Securities and Real Estate practices, with expanded capacity in major commercial centers, including New York and Boston. The firm continues to invest in high‑demand work, adding depth in areas critical to clients—public and private offerings, securities compliance for U.S. and Asia cross‑border transactions, and complex real estate acquisitions, financing, and development.
