Robinson+Cole’s Private Equity team represented Solaia Capital Advisors, an execution-based investment management firm that invests in middle-market companies to create long-term value, in its direct investment in Modjoul, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic wearable devices equipped with multiple sensors that collect motion, location, and environmental data to reduce workplace injuries. The deal provides Modjoul with the necessary capital to expand and diversify its customer base and finalize development and rollout of its latest AI manage productivity manager. The team working on the deal was led by Private Equity team partners Eric Kogan and Stephen Cooper.
