Robinson+Cole has once again been named among the Hartford Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in Connecticut as determined by a survey administered by third-party research firm, Workforce Research Group. Robinson+Cole was the highest-rated law firm among 13 large employer finalists that earned the designation and were honored during the annual Best Places to Work Awards presented on March 13, 2025. This is the eleventh time and fourth consecutive year the firm has been named a “Best Place to Work in Connecticut.”

“To be recognized again by our employees in the city where our firm was founded 180 years ago continues to be a great source of pride,” said Robinson+Cole Managing Partner, Rhonda J. Tobin. “Our core values of collaboration, civility, and inclusion resonate with our R+C community and guide everything that we do throughout the firm in service of our clients. Our strong focus on mentoring, professional development, and teamwork helps to make the work that we do more gratifying. We are so fortunate to enjoy what we do, where we do it, and the people we do it with.”

Since receiving the the Hartford Business Journal Best Places to Work in Connecticut recognition several years ago,  Robinson+Cole has received other similar rankings. Recently, the firm was again named one of the best law firms to work for in U.S. News & World Report's 2025 U.S. News Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list and continues to be top-ranked in Vault’s annual “Best Law Firms to Work For.” In addition, Robinson+Cole was recently named to Best Companies Group’s “2025 Top Inclusive Workplaces,” which celebrates businesses that have demonstrated exemplary commitment to fostering inclusivity and a sense of belonging in their work environments.

A total of 40 organizations were named finalists in the 20th annual list of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. Participation was voluntary and asked  employees to complete a comprehensive survey facilitated by Workforce Research Group to “really understand the employee experience in each organization.” Employee engagement was noted at 94 percent for this year’s group of honorees, which is significant given that the national average is roughly 35 percent.
