Robinson+Cole has earned a place among the nation’s top law firms, breaking into the top 100 of The American Lawyer’s 2025 Pro Bono Scorecard. The firm was ranked #93, jumping ten spots from last year’s rankings. The Scorecard “ranks Am Law 200 firms by their pro bono score for work performed by U.S.-based lawyers.” The scores are comprised of the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer in 2024, and the percentage of its lawyers dedicating 20 or more hours to pro bono work. Robinson+Cole posted scores of 24.3% and 31.5%, respectively—outpacing many firms with significantly larger headcounts. (Calculations are based on lawyer counts as of Dec. 31, 2024.)

Now in his second year as chair of Robinson+Cole’s Pro Bono Committee, Seth Orkand is thrilled with the 2025 Pro Bono Scorecard results and continues to be impressed by the encouragement and commitment of resources to pro bono work. “As our firm has experienced significant growth, our Pro Bono Committee has worked hard to expand the profile and breadth of our pro bono involvement,” he said. “We’re proud of our success and look forward to continued progress in our commitment to improving the communities in which we practice, which is a core value that binds us together.” Learn more and view the scorecard.
