Yang Xu focuses her practice in the areas of securities law, corporate finance and corporate governance. In that capacity, her practice includes the representation of multi-national entities such as public and private companies, strategic investors, broker-dealers and other financial institutions in their corporate transactions, including securities offerings of both public and private companies, cross-border financing, mergers and acquisitions, and other general matters. Yang is a member of our firm’s Business Transactions and Capital Markets + Securities groups.

Yang’s prior experience includes working at an international law firm based in New York City, where she worked on several IPOs of SPACs, listings of foreign companies on U.S. national stock exchange, and compliance with U.S. securities laws and regulations. Her background also includes working with clients in matters of corporate finance, and assisting with capital transactions throughout the clients’ growth stages in the capital markets.

Yang’s legal skillset and cross-cultural fluency have been instrumental in fostering and maintaining client relationships and assisting with clients’ needs in cross-border transactions.
