Yonatan Shefa focuses on the development, protection, and commercialization of intellectual property and related complex business transactions. He assists with data and technology licensing, development, acquisition, maintenance, and servicing agreements, and drafts other agreements to protect and exploit technology and IP, including professional services agreements, nondisclosure and inventions assignments, IP licensing, trademark coexistence, work-for-hire, and independent contractor agreements.

Yonatan represents clients in commercial, copyright, and trademark litigation in state and federal courts, providing counsel on a range of IP-related issues.

He maintains an active pro bono practice, representing and counseling clients in religious discrimination, Violence Against Woman Act, and copyright matters.

In law school, Yonatan was a summer judicial intern for the Hon. Gerald Lebovits of the New York State Supreme Court.
