The Roffe Group of Robinson+Cole, recently named once again to City & State’s Top 50 State Lobbyists in New York, is pleased to announce the elevations of Christine Rutigliano to Executive Vice President, Alexandra Moore to Managing Director, Patrick Zlogar to Director of Government Relations + Government Affairs, and Caley Taratus to Director of Policy + Regulatory Affairs.

The Roffe Group was formally added to Robinson+Cole in January 2022 after collaborating with the firm for nearly two decades. The addition underscores Robinson+Cole’s commitment to expanding its footprint in New York State government and regulatory representation, adding depth to the New York government affairs practice, and strengthening a key area of historical focus. The Roffe Group of Robinson+Cole consists of registered lobbyists and lawyers who have for decades applied their collective experience in government affairs, procurement advocacy, compliance expertise, and administrative law to achieve client success on a range of issues.

Christine Rutigliano has been with the Roffe Group since 2007. She has extensive experience with the New York legislature, spending nearly 15 years in the New York State Senate and Assembly. In addition, she has vast experience with the New York State Executive Branch and previously served as the Deputy Comptroller in the New York Office of State Comptroller’s Office before joining the Roffe Group and Robinson+Cole. Chrissie has expertise in the New York State Budget process, finance, state and local taxes, education, technology, insurance, economic development, transportation, health care and mental health issue. Chrissie is an adjunct professor at SUNY Albany and teaches New York State Public Policy at the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society as part of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy.

Alexandra Moore has been with the Roffe Group since 2006, overseeing all aspects of administrative and legislative lobbying while interfacing with clients to assist them in navigating the New York State government. Alex has extensive policy and regulatory experience in economic development, transportation, waste, energy and environment - with a particular knowledge base dedicated to renewable energy. Alex has significant expertise in compliance and guides staff and clients on New York State’s complex and detailed lobbying laws.  Alex was recognized in 2017 as one of City and State’s “40 under 40 Rising Stars” and is a founding member of the Greater Albany Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network, serving in many roles on the board.

Patrick Zlogar, with The Roffe Group since 2013, has been lobbying in New York State for over 25 years on behalf of clients from various industries, including insurance, energy, gaming, cannabis, transportation, manufacturing, health care, transportation, and on-line commerce. In addition to his lobbying efforts, Patrick has managed grassroots lobbying strategies, administered political action committees, and served as a key liaison with corporate and non-profit executives to guide government initiatives.

Caley Taratus, a part of the Roffe Group since 2013, has a deep understanding of the legislative and budget process along with extensive experience in managing legislative bill tracking, compliance, procurement, policy research and social media/advocacy outreach. Caley has experience in healthcare, labor, non-profits, higher education, energy and economic development. Caley was named one of City and State’s 2015 “40 under 40 Rising Stars” and served as the Marketing Director and is a founding member of the Greater Albany Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network.
